WANDERING: WAGE 2

Opportunities missed. Failures occurred. Bad decisions made. Wrong choices chosen. Bad breaks happened. Unexpected materialized. Hope deferred. Guilt, sorrow, anger, condemnation or other negative emotions materializes. Common emotions are doubt and confusion. The uncertainty or apprehensiveness becomes overwhelming.  These symptoms can cause some people to go into a wandering whirlwind.

Wandering is a movement away from the proper, normal or usual course. When the correct paths are not taken, wandering may occur. One way is started, another is taken; backwards steps then lateral steps. Oftentimes, circles are made, going around and around and getting nowhere fast.

In some cases, a particular path is chosen. All efforts are made to make it a success. For whatever reasons, it resulted in failure. Confidence is lost. No positive steps are taken due to the unsuccessful venture. Life exists in a comfortable, low key zone. Roaming begins to rule.

Wandering vs God’s Wisdom

There is no need to wander or to go in circles, even after a misstep. Allow God and His GPS (God’s Personal Spirt) to take part in every aspect of your life. Designate Him to be the Ultimate Driver, there will be less failures and more successes, because He will navigate your steps.

In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him. And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. Proverbs 3:6Amplified Bible (AMP).

God’s Wisdom is our spiritual ability to understand things, when the worldly thinking people may not understand. It is a spirit of good judgment. Knowing what you know and sometimes, don’t know how you know it. Wisdom is a free gift. But, you must believe and accept it.

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Proverbs 4:7King James Version (KJV)

How do you obtain this spiritual superpower? Ask for it.

If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. James 1:5Amplified Bible (AMP).

The world’s wisdom is not the same as God’s wisdom. Many may think they are the same. In the Word, it clearly states God’s wisdom is a higher wisdom and avoid the wisdom of this world.

Yet we do speak wisdom among those spiritually mature [believers who have teachable hearts and a greater understanding]; but [it is a higher] wisdom not [the wisdom] of this present age nor of the rulers and leaders of this age, who are passing away;

How does obtaining God’s wisdom prevent the wandering stage?

Wandering may begin after some unsuccessful event. It can possibly be after a wrong decision made by you. God’s Wisdom will assist and instruct you to have a sound insight into making a good decision in the first place. And, if by chance, you missed the mark, His wisdom will guide you to get back on track.

For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy… Ecclesiastes 2:26King James Version (KJV)

Stop wandering. Don’t be a mad nomad. Be glad with God.
