PEACE PARTICULARS

What are the particulars of peace? Particulars are specific items or details of information. Peace is a state of tranquility or quiet.  It is important to know the who, what and why of peace. Ponder on the particulars of peace.

Peace is a promise. A promise is a reason to expect that something will happen. A declaration that one will do something. God promises us peace.

The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. Psalm 29:11 (KJV).

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3 (KJV).

Peace is a position. Position is a place you should be. Be in a position n of peace.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14 (KJV)

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. Romans 14:19 (KJV).

Peace is a possession.  A possession is the act of having or taking control or ownership. Not that we have peace, we must fight to keep it. It is ours to keep.

 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. Psalm 34:14 (KJV).

 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. 1 Peter 3:11King James Version (KJV)

 Peace is a provision. A provision is to supply or provide. We must provide peace to others.

 And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness] James 3:18 (NLT)

 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. Romans 14:19 (KJV.)

Peace is a protection. God promises when our ways pleases Him, our enemies will be at peace with us.

When a man’s ways pleases the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Proverbs 16:7 (KJV).

 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (KJV).

Peace profits.

 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. James 3:18 (KJV).

Peace must be pursued.

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. Psalm 34:14 (KJV).

Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me. Isaiah 27:5 (KJV).

Peace is a privilege.  Peace is a right, benefit or advantage. It is a special opportunity.

 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. Isaiah 54:10King James Version (KJV)

Peace is power.
