RAISE YOUR WEAPONS The Armed Forces Process Part 3: TACTICS

WeaponsIt’s time to gird up and strap on your armor. Sharpen your weapons and come out fighting. The third level of the Armed Forces is tactics. This is the technique using weapons to defeat an enemy. In laymen’s terms, it is the skill of employing available means to accomplish an end.

Now it the time to put your plan, with your knowledge into action by implementing the use of weapons.

Anytime you want to change your life for the better there will be opposition. War is the struggle between opposing forces. Antagonistic powers may include, but not limited to:

  • The devil and his wiles
  • People, including friends, family and the well-intended
  • Your emotions

The ultimate weapons to employ is God and His strength and His Word.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. 2 Corinthians 10:4 (KJV)

God’s Word provides power.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)

The devil whispers negativity in your mind. Utilizing his weapons of deception and lies to work against you. You can’t do this. You will fail. Why bother? What are you thinking? Take out your force field and allow those words to repel.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4 (KJV)

Friends and family may tell horror stories of their experiences.  Or, though their wrong emotions of envy or their fear may discourage you or attempt to talk you out of your quest.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord Isaiah 54:17 (KJV)

Your emotions may the hardest to overcome. Write down Bible scriptures to recite as an antidote against adverse feelings.

When you are stressed and overwhelmed:

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 (KJV)

When fear creeps in your heart:

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)

When doubt is all about, remember:

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James 1:6 (KJV)

Don’t allow the devil, people or yourself to deter you from your dream. You are a soldier, in the Kingdom of God, fighting for your cause, using God’s weapons of warfare. Fight!

What are your hopes, dreams, and aspirations. Make your plan, educate yourself , use your weapons and accomplish all of them!
